Types of car alarms in Sydney

With growing crimes against the car, car protection in Sydney is demanding special attention.  The reason behind is quite simple anyone who owns a car has dreamt and invested their hard earned money in it, someone taking it away in a jiffy is not acceptable at all.

Gone are the days when car alarms were only supposed to be making irritating sounds, the time has come when necessity meets innovation.  Looking at the different demand and need pouring in from all over the world, different types of Auto Security System and alarms came into existence.
  • Audible: As the name suggests, these alarms shout out loud of their presence. They are certainly the owner of the most annoying and irritating noise. It is normally heard when someone tries to take access from the car through illegitimate means.
  • Silent: They are cute but little wiser. They secretly send out the information to the owner of their car being stolen or intruded. Unlike, the loud alarms will alert the thief as well and getting hold of him will be difficult, however, that is not the case with the silent ones, as except the owner no one is aware of what is happening, not even the intruder is aware that the owner knows.
  • Passive: These kinds of alarms are intelligent and usually an input device in the car itself.  No external factor can activate or deactivate it.  However, when some theft is performed, the programming is done in such a manner which disable the engine and locks the ignition.
  • Active: These alarms can be activated and deactivated by external means itself. The driver may activate it through a button.  Its unique features give it an upper hand over the passive one.
  • GPS enabled: These alarms usually are an inbuilt feature of a car. They are also known as mobile car alarms. They are used to locate the position of the car if stolen. This feature is way more technologically equipped than anyone can imagine. The location of the car can be monitored either on a personal computer or mobile phone.
